Sightseeing in Taipei
The great building 101 is the biggest or the second biggest building of the world (is there already a building 102?), and is located in Taipei. It is possible to reach the top of it, thanks to a high speed elevator, that I didn’t take because of a bad weather. Just nearby we can go to a shopping mall with the most expensive brands of the world, as Gucci, LV, Dior, Dunhill…
There is also the Taipei City Hall close to it:
Taipei is also famous for its shopping places such as Oufenbu (have no idea how to write it...) which is a very big uncovered market with really cheap clothes, Ximen which is a more classic place for shopping or Shi Ling night market, where you can find whatever you want:

Taipei is not only a high-tech city, it has also another really charming face because it is surrounded by mountains:
The 21st of February started the Lantern Festival which represents the end of the Chinese New Year's celebration (15 days after the 1st day of the year), and unfortunately I didn't see it because of my departure for Perth in Australia, but I could imagine a bit what it was like thanks to many lanterns put in advance in Taipei's streets:
